goût nostalgique pour la musique classique : mais plutôt
que de donner dans le néo-classicisme, il pratique des collages
et des citations. Des collages efficaces, en tout cas, parce qu'en
l'occurrence on est tenu en haleine, et il plane sur ce concerto grosso une
atmosphère vraiment surnaturelle.

change énormément selon les interprètes.
Différentes séquences s'enchaînent en un seul
mouvement, et une tension très forte se maintient de bout en
bout, depuis le mystère des premières notes de piano pour
y retourner à la fin, en passant par une alternance d'humeurs
graves ou faussement légères parsemées de masses
de cordes à couper le souffle... Sous la direction de
Rojdestvenski (1991), curieusement, ça devient extrêmement
ennuyeux ; Spivakov, en revanche, est captivant (je pense à la
création française à Radio France en avril 1991,
avec Vladimir Krainev) ; Lev Markiz (1987) et Polyansky (1996) sont
corrects.
